Walesby can be reached either from the A46 or the B1125. But please note that access to Otby Lake is not from the village of Walesby.

Access is by a farmtrack at the top of Walesby Hill, close to the B1125. (See detail map.)

A sign 'Otby Lake' is sited at the farm entrance. From here follow the track (1/2 mile) down into the old farmyard. The lake is visible from the track, in the valley bottom to your right. Bear right through the yard and onto the track leading to the lake at the bottom of the yard.
